Who We Are?
Trauma Recovery Nonprofit for Veterans, First Responders, and Survivors
Hero Heal Foundation is a trauma recovery nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and survivors access compassionate, trauma-informed support through education, community programs, retreats, and brain-based wellness services.
Our Trauma Recovery Nonprofit Mission
Hero Heal Foundation exists to restore hope, dignity, and well-being for people impacted by trauma. We provide trauma-informed programs designed to support healing, resilience, education, and community connection for veterans, first responders, and survivors.
Our mission is to reduce financial, social, and emotional barriers to healing while creating trustworthy pathways to support for individuals, families, and communities.
Our Trauma Recovery Nonprofit Vision
We envision a future where veterans, first responders, and survivors have access to meaningful, ethical, and evidence-informed healing opportunities. Our goal is to build community-centered support systems that promote safety, stability, and long-term well-being.
We believe healing should be accessible, respectful, and grounded in real human needs rather than limited only to those who can afford traditional support.
What Our Trauma Recovery Nonprofit Does

Scholarships, Outreach, and Donor-Funded Access
As funding grows, Hero Heal Foundation aims to expand scholarships, community partnerships, and subsidized healing opportunities for people who may not otherwise be able to afford support.
Why This Trauma Recovery Nonprofit Matters
Veterans and first responders often carry invisible burdens related to trauma exposure, chronic stress, grief, and nervous system overload. Survivors of trauma may also face barriers to recovery including stigma, cost, limited access to services, and lack of trustworthy support systems.
According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for PTSD and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, trauma-informed approaches that promote safety, empowerment, and healing are essential.
For grantmakers and private donors, this work represents an investment in stronger families, healthier communities, and more accessible recovery support.

The Story of Our Trauma Recovery Nonprofit
Hero Heal Foundation was born from lived experience and a deep recognition that too many people who serve others are left carrying trauma without enough support. What began as a personal commitment to help veterans, first responders, and survivors became a broader nonprofit mission to create access, connection, and hope.
Today, Hero Heal Foundation continues to grow as a trauma recovery nonprofit focused on education, healing access, and community-centered support for those who need it most.
Trusted Resources Supporting Trauma Recovery
Our approach is guided by trauma-informed principles and informed by respected public health and veteran support frameworks. We encourage visitors, partners, and funders to learn more through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the VA National Center for PTSD, and the CDC ACEs resources.
These resources reinforce the importance of prevention, trauma awareness, nervous system support, and community-based healing models.
How to Support Our Trauma Recovery Nonprofit

What began as a personal mission quickly became a public call to action. Through research, advocacy, and connection with trauma survivors, Hero Heal emerged as a bridge between despair and hope. We combine evidence-informed practices with deep compassion to support those who have given everything in service to others and are now ready to reclaim their lives.
From one family’s crisis to a growing network of healing, Hero Heal stands as a promise: You are not alone. Help is here. Healing is possible.
