President & Founder, Board of Directors

Jennifer Snyder is a trauma-informed educator, nonprofit leader, and visionary behind Hero Heal Foundation. With a deeply personal connection to the impacts of unaddressed trauma in veterans and first responders, Jennifer founded Hero Heal with a mission: to ensure no one walks the healing journey alone.
Blending lived experience with professional training in psilocybin facilitation and holistic mental health, Jennifer has become a trusted advocate for evidence-based, compassionate care. Her background includes developing certified education programs, leading retreats, and building trauma-responsive frameworks that center dignity, trust, and community.
Jennifer’s leadership is marked by fierce heart, strategic clarity, and an unwavering commitment to healing justice. Under her direction, Hero Heal is not only filling gaps in access to care — it is reshaping what support for our nation’s heroes can look like.
Alex Munoz
Treasurer, Board of Directors

Alex Muñoz brings over two decades of leadership, instruction, and operational expertise to Hero Heal Foundation. A retired U.S. Marine Corps Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician with 21+ years of decorated service, Alex has led high-stakes missions across the globe and trained countless military professionals in crisis response, logistics, and technical systems.
After his military career, Alex transitioned into technical instruction and development, supporting national defense training programs and working alongside organizations like Blue Origin and the U.S. Marine Corps to create immersive, high-impact learning experiences. In both public and private sectors, he’s known for his critical thinking, team-building, and servant leadership.
As Treasurer, Alex applies his deep operational background to financial stewardship and organizational resilience — helping Hero Heal maintain both its integrity and impact as it grows.
Ida Garr
Secretary, Board of Directors

Ida Garr is a seasoned operations leader with over two decades of experience in small business management, team supervision, and administrative excellence. From owning and operating a successful community-based coffee shop to managing regional teams in the telecommunications sector, Ida brings a rare blend of heart-centered leadership and logistical precision.
Currently serving as the secretary of an HVAC company, Ida oversees scheduling, compliance, and client communications — ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a high-demand service environment. Her deep understanding of back-office systems, documentation standards, and organizational accountability makes her an essential pillar of Hero Heal Foundation’s integrity and growth.
As Board Secretary, Ida ensures that Hero Heal maintains meticulous records, transparent governance, and consistent communication with our stakeholders — all while upholding the mission to serve those who have served us.
